Helogen frees manufacturing from gravity.
Producing structures, properties, and performance difficult or impossible to achieve on Earth.
We’re starting with bio-derived products for regenerative medicine and industry.
We build the whole factory.
Helogen combines manufacturing, autonomous operations, power and thermal systems, and spacecraft into one system built to produce in orbit.

Make in orbit: HEL-IOS
Helogen’s flight-proven zero-crew autonomous manufacturing system combines CELS, HEL-ICS, and our bioreactors into one flexible factory for biological production in space. A winner of the NASA TechLeap Prize, it can produce recombinant protein polymers and biologics, grow human tissue models, and manufacture Helogen’s proprietary biomaterials. GMP and regulated production is at its heart.
The system is built to go from input to finished product in one workflow, with advanced analysis built in. That means reaching scale faster, more learning from every mission. Missions that once took years compressed into much shorter development cycles.
HEL-IOS can fly on Helogen spacecraft or integrate with yours.

Spacecraft Built Around The Science
Most spacecraft are designed first, then science and manufacturing are made to fit inside. We do the opposite. Helogen builds spacecraft around the biology, manufacturing process, power, thermal control, and mission from the start, from 6U platforms to spacecraft carrying up to 60 kg of payload.
Designed for rapid build and deployment from LEO to cislunar space and beyond, these spacecraft let us learn faster and manufacture closer to where products will be needed. As humans return to the Moon and move farther from Earth, we need to understand these environments quickly and make what we need there.

The lights-out factory: Keystar
Keystar is Helogen’s lights-out factory base, designed to deliver up to 50 kW of power to payloads with thermal management, autonomy, communications, and docking built in. Production systems can dock, manufacture, and operate without rebuilding that infrastructure for every mission.
The architecture is designed to scale across multiple Keystars in different orbits, from LEO to cislunar space and beyond. The result is a distributed manufacturing base that can put power and production capacity where it is needed. For defense missions, the same architecture becomes Keyshield, a distributed orbital base for high-power payloads and resilient operations.
